Inspiration can come from a vast range of sources, but one of our biggest inspirations would have to be Rosa Parks. We admire her for standing up for what is right – it’s often not the easiest decision, it takes courage, strength, and a willingness to persevere. Rosa Parks did not waver in her decision.

Rosa’s actions took on a movement of their own, that shed light on injustices and inequalities for a group of people counted out and thought less of. Similarly, the children we serve are sadly often counted out and thought less of, but we are committed to guiding them to a position where they feel confident enough to stand up for their community, as courageous, compassionate individuals, after gaining the knowledge they need to succeed.
